Know Your Number...
Your days-in-receivable number is the calculation of the number of days between billing and payment. To determine your number, use this calculation:
Total Accounts Receivable ÷ Total Monthly Charges = ______ Note: A 90-day rolling average will be more accurate
If this number is greater than 1.5, then your days-in-receivable is over 45. That number is too high, but MICA can help. Our days-in-receivable average is under 35!
