MICA Information Systems was formed in 1979 to provide the most flexible medical system available on the market. Its marketplace consists exclusively of medical practices. We have installed hundreds of systems from solo practitioners to multi-physician groups and clinics. In serving the medical market, we realize the importance of satisfied customers and MICA is dedicated to the on-going satisfaction of each of its users. Workshops, refresher courses and new employee training are part of our daily operations.

Our support goes beyond the installation of the computer system in your practice. We make technical support available to our users for as long as the practice has the MICA system.

Our Customer Service Representatives are trained specifically in the medical field. They are always only a phone call away for questions and problem solving. Additionally, our highly trained staff of programmers, system designers, hardware engineers and technicians are always ready to help you.

Management Team

Jim Price – President, Chief Information Officer

Mr. Price, along with his partner Mr. Hauser, purchased MICA Information Systems in September 1997.  He was previously employed by Corporate Investment, a local mergers and acquisitions company owned by Mr. Price.  He has spent over 20 years assisting large and small businesses with their business operations.  For the last 13 years, he has been the President and CIO for MICA. 

Mr. Price is responsible for technology development, software development, and business venture planning.  He oversees our technical, client services, and programming staff.  Mr. Price assists with client services and client support issues.

Gary Hauser – Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Mr. Hauser, along with his partner Mr. Price, purchased MICA Information Systems in September 1997.  He was previously employed by Corporate Investment, a local mergers and acquisitions company owned by Mr. Price.  Mr. Hauser is a Forsyth County native and has a background in a variety of businesses and corporate ventures.

Mr. Hauser is responsible for overseeing our Human Resources for both our systems division and the MICA Billing Services division.  He is the manager for our billing services division as well as the Executive VP for MICA Information Systems, Inc.

Scott Yingling – Vice President of Sales

Mr. Yingling joined MICA Information Systems in October 1997 as the Vice President of Sales and is now a Partner.  He has a wide background of technology sales and small business experience.  He has spent over 25 years selling office automation products such as Telecommunications, Computing, Desktop Publishing, and Imaging Systems.  He has also owned and operated two small local businesses.

Mr. Yingling is responsible for new and existing sales of MICA products and services.  He oversees the implementation, customization, and reporting for our software and billing services products.
